FARGO, N.D. – Four Forum Communications Co. newspapers in Wisconsin received awards in this year’s annual Wisconsin Newspaper Association annual newspaper contest. The awards were bestowed during the association’s annual convention Feb. 10-11 in Appleton, Wis.
The Hudson Star Observer was recognized with top honors, placing first in “general excellence” in its circulation category. The Star Observer received seven awards in all, including first places in “editorial pages”, “page design” and “best online advertising”.
Also receiving awards were The Pierce County Herald, The River Falls Journal and the News Richmond News. Here’s a complete list of the awards received:
