FARGO, N.D. – Nearly 300 people turned out for Forum Communications Co.’s first-ever “A Night at the Zoo” held Aug. 1 at the Red River Zoo here, an attendance figure organizer Allison Leslie called “outstanding.”
FCC employees and their families from The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, Forum Communications Printing-Fargo and WDAY TV and WDAY AM 907 were treated to a beautiful summer evening at the zoo free of charge, in addition to free food, free carousel rides and grab bags for children.
In addition, the zoo-goers were treated to “learning labs” regarding some of the zoo’s animals, and they were treated to a special wolf feeding.
Leslie said that those who attended enjoyed the evening so much that plans are underway to make the zoo night an annual event.
“Everyone said that they had a blast!” Leslie said.
