William C. Marcil, Chairman
William Marcil began his newspaper career in 1961 at The Forum as a retail advertising salesman, and then classified advertising manager, promotion direction, production manager, and assistant to the publisher. He became President and Publisher in 1969 upon death of his father-in-law, Norman D. Black, Jr., thus continuing the fourth generation of family ownership.
Lloyd Case, President and CEO
Lloyd Case is a native of Harvey, North Dakota. Case joined FCC in 1982 as the Financial Controller.
Case has served on many boards including: the Inland Press Association, Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation and Alerus Financial Corporation.
Paul Amundson, Vice President Interactive
Paul Amundson has been with FCC since 1987. He helped launch the interactive initiatives for the company in 1996. FCC has more than 50 websites including newspaper and broadcast sites from a four state region; and also classified and niche websites targeted to areas of consumer interest. Amundson also created the Internet access business i29 in 1989 which evolved from dial-up access to an innovative wireless broadband service covering the Fargo-Moorhead area.
John Hajostek, Vice President Finance and CFO
John Hajostek grew up in Moorhead, MN. Hajostek joined FCC in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer.
Hajostek worked for W.W. Wallwork, Inc., Fargo, from 1985 to 1996, where he was Controller. From 1996 to 2002, he was Corporate Controller for Transwest, Inc., a group of truck and trailer dealerships in Denver and the Rocky Mountain Region.
Dennis Hall, Vice President Commercial Printing
Dennis Hall has spent his entire professional career in Newspaper Publishing and Commercial Printing. Throughout the course of thirty-five years, he has worked in nine different newspaper markets in the upper Midwest. He has been active in the Inland Press Association, Minnesota Newspaper Association and Wisconsin Newspaper Association. Prior to being named Director of Operations for Forum Communications Printing (FCP), he held the position of Publisher of the Worthington Daily Globe and Director of Daily Newspapers for Forum Communications Company.
Mark Prather, Vice President Broadcast
Mark Prather is a Sioux City, Iowa native. He has been involved in television and radio broadcasting for thirty-four years, working for with Avant Corporation from 1978-1990. Mark was named General Manager, Broadcast Operations for Forum Communications Company in July 1990.
Steve McLister, Vice President Newspapers
Steve McLister, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, began his newspaper career in Lancaster, Ohio in 1979 and has over 25 years in newspaper management. The past 14 years have been with Forum Communications Company as publisher in Mitchell, SD, Willmar, MN, Duluth, MN and as general manager of The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. He has taken on community leadership roles in all communities he has been privileged to serve with the help of his wife and best friend of 28 years, Penny.
