FARGO, N.D. – Five Forum Communications Co. papers won more than 200 awards during the annual North Dakota Newspaper Association convention held last week in Williston, N.D. Papers received recognition in categories as varied as news, opinion, website design, advertising and photography, and all entrants were judged by colleagues in Wyoming.
Although all five of FCC’s North Dakota papers received many honors, The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead carried the day, earning 80 awards and capturing the Sweepstakes prize annually awarded to the paper receiving the most awards. Also being lauded were the Grand Forks Herald, The Jamestown Sun, The Dickinson Press and the West Fargo Pioneer.
Next year’s North Dakota Newspaper Association convention will be held in Rapid City, S.D., in conjunction with the South Dakota Newspaper Association‘s annual convention.
